Allen has lived and worked in remote communities, having completed his electrical apprenticeship in Nhulunbuy.
Having lived in Nhulunbuy for 7 years, Allen is connected to the local community and understands the issues they face.
As a small business owner, Allen knows the struggles of small business owners across the Territory and the challenges they face with higher costs of doing business, like rent, wages, insurance and transport costs.
With deep connections and appreciation for Indigenous culture, he put his hand up to make a difference for the people of Mulka.
A committed family man and partner, Allen enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys fishing and crabbing.
“I love the Territory, our community spirit and our unique way of life, but in recent times Territorians have been telling me this is not the same place they grew up in,” Allen said.
“We all deserve better and I put my hand up to run for the CLP in Mulka because I want to be able to make a difference for local families and communities.
“Having owned my own small business, I know the issues local businesses are facing, and as part of the CLP Team, I want to help deliver the solutions.
“The Territory is the greatest place in Australia and only the CLP has a plan to rebuild the Territory and our way of life.”
