"These are my yalu’ (nest) or my Yolŋufoundation. They are my bloodline and my cultural roots. As a researcher, I am keeping this cultural foundation and connection"
"Knowing who I am dealing with, and how to use that knowledge in different areas, means I am able to deliver research in the right way.
"I have access through my kinship to my own, and other clan groups. I can talk about some of the skills and knowledge that my yapa have, or my märi have, and through this deliver the support that families need.
"The Territory is not the one I know and love. We can do so much better and I am privileged and honoured to be the CLP candidate for Arnhem.”
