Jo has lived in Katherine for over 30 years, raising her family and previously being a small business owner of 25 years where she ran a very successful Hairdressing Salon.
Her priority is the local community and supporting local businesses so they can operate with certainty to create local jobs, without the fear of being broken into.
Jo has a long history of being involved in the community whether it be through school councils or the sporting clubs her children have been part of.
She is committed to being part of the solution rather than the problem and works hard to get Katherine and the Territory growing again.
“I love Katherine and our community where people will back you when times get tough and pull together to help a friend.
Everyone has a right to feel safe and secure in their home. And it’s simply not good enough that we no longer feel safe here.
I will not compromise to get Katherine growing again, I will fight for the local economy. I will work with the community to find solutions to crime.
